Look at the cover.
看看封面。
Someone kicked the football into the net.
有人把球踢进了。
Who is this man?
这个人是谁呢？
He must be the goalkeeper.
他一定是守门员。
What do you think happened?
你觉得发生了什么呢？
Let’s get started with the story.
我们来读读这个故事吧。
It was a cold day.这是很冷的一天。
It was also raining.
还下着雨。
Dad was having a football match in the rain.
爸爸在雨中有一场足球比赛。
All the other family members went to watch the football match.
全家人都来看足球比赛了。
They wore thick clothes.
他们都穿着很厚的衣服。
Everyone got wet.大家都淋湿了。
Everyone got cold.
大家都很冷。
The match was still on.
比赛仍然在进行中。
Everyone looked unhappy.
大家看起来都不太开心。
Dad seemed tired.
爸爸看上去有点累。
Floppy got tired.Floppy也很疲惫了。
He lay on the ground and yawned.
他躺在地上，打着哈欠。
Kipper got miserable.
Kipper感觉很糟糕。
He felt cold and wet in the rain.
他浑身又湿又冷。
It was uncomfortable.
非常不舒服。
Mum got cross.
妈妈很生气。
She shouted at Dad.
她在朝爸爸吼叫。
Why was she cross at Dad?
为什么妈妈生气了？
That's because the referee gave Dad a yellow card.
因为裁判给了爸爸一个黄牌。
A yellow card means a warning in a football match.
在足球比赛里，黄牌代表一个警告。
Dad got a goal.爸爸进球啦。
“Hooray!” said everyone.
“耶！”大家欢呼起来。
Good job, Dad! Well done!
太棒啦，爸爸！厉害！
Everyone was happy to see this.
大家都开心了起来。
拓展问题1.What was the weather like on that day?
这一天天气怎么样呢？
2.What did the family feel at the end of the story?
在故事的最后，大家的心情怎么样？
3.Do you like playing football? Why?
你喜欢踢足球吗？为什么？
拓展练习（难度略大，适合4岁以上宝宝～）

特别提醒1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。
3. 如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
